Festival
The first one which is good to talk about is Ed Sheeran performing his new song You Need Me, I Don’t Need You in 2011. He performed this at Glastonbury on the BBC Introducing stage. He released this song onto ITUNES the morning of the day when he performed at Glastonbury. A festival is multi platform event where many musicians perform the tracks to a wider public audience.

Jools Holland.
Bugzy Malone and JP Cooper performed the song ordinary people from Bugzy’s new album Run on Jools Holland’s live lounge show which is broadcasted on radio but tv as well.
Jools Holland’s live lounge are where artists perform their songs to a wider public viewing platform for BBC One viewers.
Radio
This is a showcase of Stormzy talent on the popular radio show Charlie Sloth.
This radio show plays a lot of upcoming grime and hiphop artist and place for artist to show their skills to a big audience.
Charity Gig
Band Aid is another good one because this is a youtube blasted video which incorporates lots of talented and well know singer’s and artists performing for charity and raising awareness.
There were artists such as Rita Ora and Sam Smith in this 2014 edition of band aid.

Glas Denbury is a family fun event run in Denbury by Emma Twamley
It’s an award winning music festival put on every summer.
Jolly Farmer pub is a local pub situated in Newton Abbot and hosts various musical acts and a weekly jam night.
As a college we have performed here once before and plan to once again on the 1 June 2019.
Sound Art radio is a station set up in Dartington run by volunteers to provide a local listening platform for local artists to perform on.
This is a local charity fun day for the family in Paignton and last time they managed to raise £15,000 for Rowcroft.
For putting on a music showcase these are the costs you would have to account for

Venues , suggestions
This is the brand new village hall based in broadhempston.
In the week it costs 8 50 an hour but in the weekend it costs 11,95.
There is an 50 pound deposit
And the stage should cost 30 pounds and takes an hour to set up roughly
There hopefully should be a field open for extra parking but there is parking right outside the hall.
They have a alcohol sale license but its an additional 15 pounds to be able to sell booze.
People are able to use the hall till 12 but probably good to use it till 11 or 11,30.
